To get a pardon from Don, one must be a real crook.
His fav’rite crime—fraud—gets you right off the hook.
No innocent victims will feel the Don’s grace.
No, Don wants his compatriots back in the race!
The first day of his term, Don freed most of the crew
Who’d with violence joined him in seeking a coup.
Even those who’d hurt cops were released from the brig.
For those wearing The Blue, Donald gives not a fig!
He frees those convicted of crimes like his own—
Tax evasion, conspiracy, fraud, crooked loans.
He’s showing his power, and I’m sure that in time
He will pardon himself for his similar crimes.
But his latest contortions seem highly neurotic.
He’s pardoning people who’ve trafficked narcotics!
While killing off folk—at most suspects small time—
He’s releasing the king-pins, those directing the crime!
Why free Ulbricht, Hernandez? It’s a mystery unclear.
Makes one think that the Don may be up to his ears
In trafficking or laund’ring the money that’s earned
From the widespread and lucrative drug-trafficking churn.
Whatever his motive, there’s one thing that’s sure.
Any motive that suits him is clearly not pure!
For the Don’s like a mob boss, at heart and in style.
And the fruit of his actions is consistently vile!
