Donald does not believe in regime change, he believes in corruption change, if the power in charge of Venezuela is not corrupt they are not useful. “We’re going to run it, fix it. We’ll have elections at the right time" That came hours after the president threatened Venezuela’s new leader, the corrupt, sanctioned Maduro VP who is now the acting President Delcy Rodríguez, telling The Atlantic that she will “pay a very big price” if she doesn’t “do what’s right.” She got the message and her initial act of defiance is now one of contrition...Yeah she will work as Trump's corrupt puppet.

He is neither stupid nor demented. His genius is his ability to ignore truth and the traditions that make democracy work. He just rules.

In the words of Andrew Sullivan:

"He does whatever he wants. He offers several contradictory rationales. He doesn’t care if any of it makes sense. He moves on to his next bullying impulse. We the public observe. We have no say. Our Congress is irrelevant. This is life in an elective monarchy."

It is how he has operated forever - the evil genius who has manipulated everyone from banks to realtors to NYC elected elite.which explains how he got out of NYC without spending time in a jump suit and he used his years on the apprentice preparing America for the "successful" businessman who would eventually take the lie all the way to the White House..he had many accomplices and our media helped
