LOTUS NOTES/DOMINO OPPORTUNITIES
To 110K + Bonus

My client company has closed some major business
that will require significant staffing in the next
month. They need to hire 20+ full time people as soon
as possible. The majority of the positions will be
PSE level Notes developers and Architects (see
attached descriptions). Here are some highlights:

Will work on large-scale, web-based development
projects for major clients (not only
exposed to Notes, but C++, Java, HTML , most
operating platforms). PSE will act as lead developer
for subsystems of large projects, PSE MUST have
Notes/Domino. Architect will act as technical lead
for entire systems of large projects (do not need to
have Notes experience). 3 weeks of paid professional
development per year although consulting group,
flexible, casual engineering environment with excellent
benefits, some travel required (25-30% at most) salary
up to 93k + 20% bonus plan for PSEs and up to $110k + 25%
bonus plan for Architects; will use sign-on incentives
start dates...immediately

PRINCIPAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER Job Description

Key Words: Domino, Notes, Consulting, Technical Lead,
Large Systems

Experience Required:
Experience on large client engagements in a team
leadership capacity. Ability to design subsystems
that require integration between Domino and other
technologies in strategic areas of our client's
businesses. Ability to think abstractly and define
the standards of implementation and design to be
followed by other developers on your team. Need to
be an experienced Notes/Domino developer and be current
in state of the art technologies such as Domino, web
development, three tier architectures, database
integration and object oriented design. Overall 7+
years of experience.

Education Required:
BS in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Advanced degree preferred.

Position Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
The Principle Systems Engineer typically assumes the
lead technical role in the design of total systems
solutions for large engagements. He/She is responsible
for the global design and development of the largest,
most complex and most demanding multi-systems solutions.
This level is recognized throughout the organization as
an expert in a technology architecture or industry
application. He/She understands the client's business
and helps to define the current/future technological
direction of the customer.

Defines task approach and structure for multiple
engagements. Selects and modifies practice support
tools to fit engagement. Allocates resources necessary
to manage projects. Identifies, analyzes, evaluates
and recommends alternative design solutions.

Develops engagement work plan(s). Monitors
engagement performance vs. work plan across project
technical areas. Ensures engagement level quality.
Develops and implements solutions to engagement problems.
Maintains "big picture" of product design. Ensures that
design proposals and implementations meet client needs.

Plans the activities and resource requirements of all
phases of an engagement in his/her area of responsibility.
Coordinates other engineers involved in multiple project
phases. Focuses on delivery of engagement results to the
client. Establishes costs and time estimates for
implementation. Often involved in several engagements
simultaneously.

Understands and communicates client expectations to
engagement team. Participates in recruiting. Conducts
staff/engagement performance appraisals. Counsels/coaches
staff for specific performance improvement. Is a mentor.
Transfers technical knowledge to others in area(s) of
expertise.

Manages assigned responsibility in support of the
organization's overall revenue objectives, participates
the preparation of proposals and client presentations;
identifies future customer applications for engagement
add-on opportunities. Responsible for maximizing billable
time/services related to several engagements; ensures
non-engagement related charges are in accordance with
defined budgetary guidelines, prepares summary analysis
as required; approves almost all engagement expenditures
within established parameters.

Must interact effectively with the consulting management
team throughout the engagement proposal and delivery process.
Interacts with client's senior management team on the formation
of major design decisions. Resolves complex issues/problems
with existing clients. Cultivates and maintains the high level
customer relationships. Assumes principal technical role in
demos. Writes articles, presents technical papers, and/or
otherwise builds a technical reputation.

SYSTEMS ARCHITECT Job Description

Key Words: Lotus Notes/Domino or Web-based architecture
(Java, C++, OO, DHTML), design and implementation of large
and complex systems, technical lead, systems architecture

Experience Required:
The ASG systems architect is responsible for all technical
aspects of complex custom Domino applications. This
includes significant customer contact, presentations,
requirements gathering, development of functional and
technical specifications and technical leadership for the
full development cycle. The system architect is also
expected to be a key contributor to the technical strategy
of the organization and provide technical input for marketing
development and scoping activities.

The systems architect must be able to translate complex
customer requirements into scalable, reliable, high
performance solutions that effectively satisfy the
customer's needs. Must have a history as a key
technical leader on complex software applications.
Should have in-depth understanding of architecture,
software engineering, test methodologies and multi-
platform system deployments. Must be current in state
of the art technology such as Domino, Web development,
three-tier architectures, database integration and
object-oriented design.

Education Required:
BS in Information Technology or Computer Science; or
relevant systems architect experience. Advanced degree
preferred.
