The Society's annual Heart Rhythm meeting is the premier EP event every year and brings together the largest gathering of heart rhythm professionals from around the world to exchange ground-breaking science, cutting-edge technologies, and life-saving therapies to improve the care of arrhythmia patients.

The Society thanks 8,900+ heart rhythm professionals from around the world whose participation during Heart Rhythm 2023, along with their shared ideas and expertise, helped make this year's annual meeting a success. Together, we are advancing the field of cardiac electrophysiology.

HRS strives to facilitate the participation of early-career electrophysiologists and fellow heart rhythm professionals in the activities of the global EP community, particularly the Society's annual meeting. To provide financial support to early-career individuals interested in attending Heart Rhythm 2024, HRS is offering travel scholarships, which include complimentary registration and $1,500 to help cover travel costs.

Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) is a 501(c)(3) international nonprofit organization with a mission to improve the care of patients by promoting research, education, and optimal healthcare policies and standards. Founded in 1979, HRS is a leading resource on cardiac pacing and electrophysiology. This specialty organization represents medical, allied health, and science professionals from more than 90 countries who specialize in cardiac rhythm disorders.

Prof Schilling was part of the team that lead the merger of the Heart and Barts hospitals which is one of the largest heart centers in Europe. He is the Strategy Director for Barts Hospital, the Medical Director for the Arrhythmia Alliance and President-Elect for the British Heart Rhythm Society.

Dr Blomström-Lundqvist graduated in medicine in 1976, she went on to specialise in cardiology and internal medicine, and started research on haemodynamics and myocardial metabolism in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy. With the developments in electrophysiology she switched her research interest towards arrhythmias and after 3 years she defended her PhD thesis on the diagnostic and prognostic implications of arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia in 1987 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Prof Chun heads the electrophysiology section at CardioVascular Center Bethanien, Markus Krankenhaus in Frankfurt, Germany. He trained at the University of Lübeck and St Georg Hospital, Hamburg, Germany. He is a member of the Nucleus and Treasurer of the Arrhythmia Working Group at the German Cardiac Society. He is a faculty member at the University of Lübeck.

You can check your heart rate any time using the Heart Rate app. Open the app, then wait for Apple Watch to measure your heart rate. You can also view your resting, walking, breathe, workout, and recovery rates throughout the day. To easily open the app, add the Heart Rate complication to your watch face.

You can also turn on heart rate notifications, so you know if your heart rate remains above or below a chosen beats per minute (BPM), or to occasionally check for an irregular heart rhythm.

Irregular rhythm notifications are available only with watchOS 5.1.2 or later. To enable irregular rhythm notifications, the notifications must be available in your country or region. Learn where irregular rhythm notifications are available.

Thousands of videos are included to support you. We have vocal warmups, solfa practice, rhythm practice, recorder levels 1 & 2, ukulele, guitar, Boomwhackers, bucket drumming, body percussion, dances, kids demos, and the composer's specials (Bach's Fight for Freedom, etc.).

The online site includes 3,000+ interactive activities to use on computers and student devices! We're constantly updating and finding new ways to use gamification to reinforce concepts. You'll find fun music games, solfa and note naming activities, tone ladders, beat and rhythm activities, melody composition tools, rhythm composition tools, pop quizzes, and more!

This song is useful for reviewing or teaching steady beat, having students distinguish between beat and rhythm, and labelling ta and titi. Teach by rote.

If you are a medical professional, knowing how to read an electrocardiogram (ECG), or at the very least, learning how to interpret cardiac rhythms, is a great skill to have. If you are new to ECG interpretation, looking to reacquaint yourself, or are just interested in seeing how our course works, you should try out our free ACLS Rhythms course.

In this online ACLS course, you will be quizzed on each rhythm and then watch the detailed description, highlighting the important features. This course is designed for medical professionals of all levels and is a must for anyone studying for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

In addition to learning about the various rhythms above, you will also learn to differentiate between normal and abnormal rhythms detected on electrocardiograms. Rhythms are named by the area in the heart from which they originated and a description of the heart rate. Students will learn about:

Our course is designed to help physicians, nurse practitioners, ICU and ER nurses, and other medical providers better understand ACLS rhythms and ECG interpretation. It is also a great review and practice tool for doctors, nurses, telemetry technicians, and emergency medical technicians (EMTs). Medical students, physical therapy students, kinesiology students, and other health science students will also benefit.

People seem to be forgetting about Duke's success in its first season under Elko. Not only that, but Duke returns a whopping 17 starters -- more than any other ACC program -- off that 9-4 team, including star quarterback Riley Leonard. Elko's squad is also catching Clemson at the perfect time, before it has a chance to establish any sort of rhythm under Riley. Clemson is too talented to confidently predict a total upset here, but Duke at least covering seems like a reasonable bet. Prediction: Duke +13

Circadian rhythms are physical, mental, and behavioral changes that follow a 24-hour cycle. These natural processes respond primarily to light and dark and affect most living things, including animals, plants, and microbes. Chronobiology is the study of circadian rhythms. One example of a light-related circadian rhythm is sleeping at night and being awake during the day. The Average Teen Circadian Cycle image shows the circadian rhythm cycle of a typical teen.

Understanding what makes biological clocks tick may lead to treatments for jet lag, sleep disorders, obesity, mental health disorders, and other health problems. It can also improve ways for people to adjust to nighttime shift work. Learning more about the genes responsible for circadian rhythms will also help us understand more about the human body.

The Fitbit irregular heart rhythm notifications feature is not continuously looking for AFib. This means it cannot identify all instances of AFib, and you may not get a notification even if you have AFib. Not intended for use by people under 22 years old or with other known arrhythmias.
