I have been using my EasyCap for quite a few years now and even now with Windows 10 Pro 64bit mine did the same was recognized the minute I plugged it in as (av to usb 2.0). I use the program iSpy 64bit for security cameras and have had no problems with getting Video or Audio

I was never able to get good quality video out of this so I actually gave up on it. I will be looking for a used home DVD recorder to convert my tapes instead but for those who are still interested this is the only driver that worked for my unit:

For updating drivers, there are several ways. You can go to device manger to update the easycap drivers. Use the hardware id to go to pcidatabase.com to find the model and then go to the official site to download the driver.
Thanks a lot for the tips I solved my problem with windows 10 and EasyCAP_USBVID_1B71&PID_3002_FullCD.zip . I was looking for a solution during a long time. in fact I used to capture with the USB equipment from Magix but in my opinion the movie colours were a little grewish. easycap was much better (Brighter colours). I also met a problem using Easycap the software included in honestech TVR2.5 (included in the fullCD.zip) did not work so I changed it to Cyberlink power director and I obtained good rsult. To summerize my solution is:

On Windows 10 Microsoft uses some compatibly drivers for this device dated from 2006. The screen is blurry, after 3 seconds its gone, after 6 seconds the device just freeze. I tried it on several computers too.
I bought EZCAP 116 TV to transfer my Hi8 home videos to digital on my computer. No problems setting up and copying . Initially worked and editing was good. My computer crashed twice and the editing files on Arcsoft disappeared. I am still able to digitize the files to my computer but saved on Arcsoft for editing. Tried to reinstall but did not work. can I uninstall the drivers and start all over again. Will this allow me edit the files previously digitized. Can you help.

It may also be of worth to note for others that I discovered a much easier solution using an OTG cable with an Android phone or tablet, if that is an option for you.
I purchased the Easy Capture. My laptop would not run the mini disc that came with it. I downloaded the software through your site. It is asking me for my product key. Any ideas where to get that for the vhs to dvd application.
I have an hp windows 10 computer and ordered the FAVOLCANO Easycap USB 2.0 Audio Video VHS to DVD Converter Capture Card Adapter. The cd I received has nothing to do with the installation. Do you have a link I can use to download?
I have windows 10 64bit and have install EasyCap W7 W10 x64.zip (aka Easycap 4Ch USB DVR W10, W7, x64) , I did the installation and the programme is there but nothing works when I try to transfer a video from a not to hold mini vhs camera. Is it the sofware?

Which driver package from the list should I download to use in a windows 10 environment. The driver and software I received with my Easycap capture device, USB DVR Capture v 4.0A Model No:DC60-007 by honestech is totally useless. The software does not allow us to change the video aspect and as a result we end up with a picture that stretches from top to bottom of screen, but is only about 30cm wide when we try to playback on our bigscreen TV.

I have used the driver you found and I now have no issues in the device manager. I have also downloaded and installed Expression Encoder 4, but I could do with some help. I have the Easycap plugged in, how do I get Encoder to recognise or display it? I have a VCR to connect to my Easycap and wish to save a video for later writing to a DVD
I tried to find a solution for my EasyCAP, I tried every driver out there and spend more than 10h to fix the problem. Finally I could find the driver that worked for my EasyCAP (CSL USB2.0 Video Grabber) under Windows 10. Hope it will work for more people who are still struggling with Windows 10.
I had same problem of you using W10 . I converted the first vhs video to my pc correctly and no more. I spent a lot of hours to find a solution. At the end the problem was a malfunction of my video Grabber Easy CAP: the contact inside usb 2.0 port was not correct. I change with a new one and now I started to convert my video again perfectly.

I also have the same Easier Cap, and it is detected and accessible in Windows 7 64 bit, and named OEM capture. However, there is no sound from the tape, but it records from the microphone. Video is there. Is there another driver to get the sound from yhe VHS tape working?

I have the software you mentioned (Easier Cap DC60-007 usbtv007) and while it does produce both video and audio without problems, there is still an issue with the picture aspect using this driver. There is no selection for 16.9 aspect and as a result I ended up with good audio, but a picture that while it was the correct hieght, but was only 30cm wide. If I change the aspect ratio, then it records audio only and will not record video. I have read from other sights that Easier Cap DC60-007 usbtv007 does not work correctly with anything above windows 2000. It also states within the help file that it is not compatible with Vista, Win7 or 8.
Hi Guys. My Easycap just stop working after last Windows 10 atualization/update, the driver dont work anymore, and in devices mananger it appears with that yellow exclamation. Any one knows how can I fix it?
Forget about my question! The problem was not the drivers, but the latest update on windows 10 (aug 2016). Somehow the update managed to mess up with driver installation. After taking ownership of three folders related to drivers on system32, I was able to get the easycap working.

hi guys, the driver is working well. but i need the application. i got honestecc in CD. i want to use ulead but when i tried to use the newest corel video studio, thats not supported. can you give me the best application for windows 10?
Hi, I have this system at home including the software, however with all the building alterations the sleeve of the disk was damaged and now I do not have the serial number for my software as I got a new PC and would like to install it. Is there anyway I can get the serial number without having to buy a whole new set of the easycap as I do not want 2 systems.
I have had my EasyCap for several years (it began life under WinXP) I have run it on Vista, 7 and now on 10. The STK1160 works OK. I have never used the EasyCap to capture audio. Even when it works it has a poor dynamic range and lots of distortion. Much better to feed the audio into line in. You will probably need a twin RCA to 3.5mm stereo coax lead Remember to point your capture software to the correct audio input. My capture software is NCH Debut which is free for non-commercial use.

I lost my original CD but got my EzCap (SM_USB007) to work. However, none of my video editing software packages (Nero and Pinnacle Studio) are able to import/capture the input from the device. Any idea which free video editing software would do the job?

When i plug-in easyCAP, my computer (with windows 10) see it as USB2.0 PC Camera in device manager and assigns a Microsoft driver.
Then the system do not allow to change it to any other driver provided within this page. When i remove and replug, same is happening. Please advise how to use easycap drivers instead of automatically assigned Microsoft drivers.
It sounds strange but I can not even make an original drivers published on CD with the hardware mentioned above in a Windows 7 x64 environment working. However, both the EasyCAP (DC60).zip and the EasyCapDC60_64bit.zip drivers work in my case. I do have to say a big Thank You!
