When you think about how ungulates see, in what colors, and how those colors react to UV it becomes pretty damn interesting. Ungulates have dichromatic vision, they see yellow and blue colors with everything else being black/white and gray. Blue colors fall between 430-520nm wavelengths and yellow falls between 565-580nm wavelengths. So theoretically, if your trail camera is not putting out light between those spectrums, deer are not seeing it OR at least not in the same color as we see it. Now, lets pull it back to trail cameras.
White Flash trail cameras give you an actual flash. Hobbyist folks seem to really gravitate towards these types of cameras because they put out color night images. This type of light falls into the lower range of the UV Spectrum at approx 300nm.
Red Flash also called IR trail cameras include any bulb that puts out light at wavelengths between approx 625nm up to 750nm. At the bottom end light is visible at the upper end it is less noticeable.
Black Flash, aka invisible flash, no glow, black out, or whatever else you want to call it, also falls into the IR spectrum but at the upper end with a wavelength of 940nm. General science tells us that mammals cannot see light at this wavelength. Really, only amphibians and reptiles can see this type of light.
IR and Black Flash cameras have added HW to capture light at these wavelengths. This is the purpose of the cameras IR filter OR the camera could have a dedicated night sensor and lens making it a dual lens camera.
let's talk about the characters who claim to be death and who represents it in the DC universe. I shall evaluate nekron, the black racer and the black flash( i will also do endless but she wont be included in the fight) the most self proclaimed death aspects of DC and put them to war. keep in mind this isn't just a battle between them, i am evaluating them as well and telling you about who they truly are .
Black Racer: the black racer is the new gods/ cosmic interpretation of death. He is commonly depicted as a black night wearing jet skis. The black racer's job is to basically kill those who destiny sets him out to find. With that being said, the black racer is commanded by destiny itself and will never stop tracking his target unless destiny changes for whatever reason. the black racer isn't so much of a fighter due to his "death touch" which virtually lets him kill gods and mortals alike with a touch. the black racer is mostly known for his seemingly unmatched speed which he uses to hunt down his target. The black racer on many occasions has raced the scarlet speedster flash for his life, but flash has been able to outrun the racer before .
Black flash: in the picture shown that is actually the black racer in control of flashes body but in that state he is commonly referred to as black flash.the black flash is the personification of the dark side of the speed force and is the death for the speeders, he is commonly seen as the same or a close counterpart to thee black racer. the black flash is the death for users of the speed force due to speed force members being too fast for death to catch(black racer). he is depicted as a zombie looking flash with a black suit along with red and white features. same with the black racer the black flash isn't much of a fighter because of his also ability known as death touch. the role the black flash plays is he serves as a "black racer" specifically for speedsters and is just as fast as any speedster and it is highly likely that black flash is faster than black racer due to the fact that black flashes soul purpose for existing his hunting the people that were too fast for black racer to handle.
Nekron: Now this character is the one i've wanted to really talk about and i will explain him more thoroughly than the rest on the list. before i get into him i need to tell everyone that nekron is not a aspect of death, a death god, or death entity, he shouldn't even be on this list but allot of people believe him to be these things. it is true that nekron does posses and control death in a sense but he is not truly death in any aspect or way and i'll explain why. nekron is the leader of the black lanterns and the mastermind behind the blackest night. nekron is commonly depicted as a zombie/skeletal like being with a huge lantern like scythe. nekron himself is known as the lord if the unliving and rules over a pocket dimension in between hell, limbo, and purgatory. there he rules over all the souls in his realm that awaits their final passage into the afterlife. nekron is not a death entity or personification, nekron is in fact a manifestation of the universes wrath. in a time before the universe was filled with both life and death, the universe was nothing but a simple void, filling with nothingness. the life entity who in which came to be and created life in the universe changed everything and created the aspects of life and death in the universe, the universe itself somehow disliked this and then reacted to this by creating nekron, a manifestation of it's wrath and anger towards life. but nekron's quest for ending life was turned short when he was banished from the universe and sent to a smaller dimension which became his realm. nekron was banished due to the fact that he represents what the universe used to be, nothing, but since the universe was full of life his principles no longer applied and he was removed due to him not having a place in the universe. while in his eternity to spend, nekron has had various escapes from his dimension into the real world prior to the blackest night. But nekron planned the blackest night through his empowerment through the dead and his connection to the black lantern corps. though this was never truly explained in the blackest night, the jist of it is that the role of the guardians of the universe is not to actually protect the universe but the white light/entity, due to the fact that if anything were to happen to the white light, life in the dc multiverse could end, and on a separate note, the universe was never theirs to inherit. the universe was never meant to have life or death, and with life and death, came emotion, and emotion caused chaos, thus the universe birthed a embodiment of it's justice and wrath towards life and the chaos it brought to existence. theoretically speaking nekron is a entity of the universe itself and its true guardian. thus nekron truly only desires peace as any good person would , but he sees life as what causes madness, so he intends to kill everything thus eliminating emotion thus bringing true peace. so in summary nekron is not at all just another death entity but a embodiment of the universe that was once nothing and the universe's true protector.
endless: Nothing much to say about her rather than she IS death. not a representation, not a entity, not a aspect, but literally death itself. similar to how the life entity IS life, she is death. Ironically though she is the exact opposite of what people think death would be like, seen as happy and friendly to all. she is depicted as a pale gothic appearing girl. since she is death she is omnipresent and is virtually everywhere. her exact power is incalculable and cannot be defined but it is without a doubt beyond that of any god or mortal.
nekron as i said isn't truly connected to just death, despite being the leader of the black lanterns, he truly represents the void and nothingness, the fact that he has some control over death is purely just apart of his power set and is not actually him as a whole. but if i had to place nekron on the list he would be the new 2nd place due to me personally seeing him being above black flash and black racer, i'll take the universes wrath incarnated over a death god and death speeder any day, but i still would put nekron below endless. not sure why. but i feel like if nekron can kill the life entity which literally is life(which he almost did) then it would be interesting for him to try to kill endless who is literally death.
now that you know some prior knowledge about the almighty deaths of dc, who's your favorite? and who you think would win in a fight? ( due to the endless not being a legit fighter of any kind and her power being unscaled i don't include her in the fight so it's just nekron, black racer, and black flash).
In an actual fact I really dont see a winner, what I know for sure is Nekron not winning this, he is cool and all but he has been defeated before, both on his realm and in the living realm, not killed or koed but defeated yes, in instance Captain Atom once defeated him, he is a weird character in term of power tbf, I cant really decide
But as coming to the fact that both Black Racer and Black Flash have deadly touch I can only see this as an stalemate as both are merely representation of the same thing but for different purposes and would kill each other the moment someone touch the other.
