EXCELLINK 2004 LT (V16.1.1.5 upd 1/2005) is an ARX application for AutoCAD LT 2004. It allows to bidirectionaly link attribute and block data between an AutoCAD LT drawing and an Excel 2000/XP/2003 sheet.
EXCELLINK VBA (V1.4.0 upd 1/2002) is an Excel (97/2000) VBA application for AutoCAD Rel.14.01, AutoCAD 2000 and Mechanical Desktop. It allows to bidirectionaly link attribute data and point coordinates between an AutoCAD drawing and an Excel sheet.
Install Excellink by running the supplied .MSI (or .EXE) setup file (if you have previous version of Excellink 2000 installed, uninstall it first). You will need local Administrator rights to install this program.
Take your existing drawing (or the TUTORIAL drawing supplied with Excellink, in the Tutorial subfolder) containing some blocks (block references, incl. e.g. those in leaders) with attributes. Open this drawing in an AutoCAD (or LT) session, run Excellink from its toolbar or by the XLINK command.Choose the Export option, it prompts for block selection (use mouse right-click for selection options; use the Filter option to select blocks by layer or names) and then transfers attribute information to an Excel sheet. The new "Allow to select blocks" option enables the Select objects prompt on export allowing to export only the selected block references. If you select the XLINK/Connect option (or check the Automatic connect "hot-link" option in Options), links to the original entities (even between sessions) are established (option removed in Excellink 2015). When you edit the data sheet in Excel (manually or eg. by Excel formulas), AutoCAD drawing data is automatically updated (may fail in some configurations!). Dynamic blocks are supported since version 2013. UCS coordinates are supported since version 2015.
Take your existing drawing (or the DEMO drawing supplied with Excellink) containing points or blocks (block references) with attributes. Open this drawing in AutoCAD session, open Excellink (e.g. excellink139.xls) in Excel (enable macros).Excellink automatically prompts for block selection (by name or by click) and then transfers initial attribute information to Excel keeping the links to the original entities (even between sessions). When you edit the data sheet in Excel (manually or eg. by Excel formulas) drawing data (incl. coordinates, scale, rotation) is automatically updated. You can even create new AutoCAD entities (Points) from an Excel sheet (eg. calculate coordinates with an Excel expression). Excellink works with either modelspace or paperspace objects.
Please report any misuse of Excellink VBA (e.g. the pirated version: "CADXL_DATA")
Open your existing drawing (or the DEMO drawing supplied with Excellink) containing points or blocks (block references) with attributes. Run AutoCAD LT by the Excellink-LT icon (not by your original method). Click on the Create table button on Xlink toolbar (a new one). Select your block name (check All for blocks without variable attributes). Choose Excellink options (or let the default values). Excel will start/activate and table is filled by values from your drawing.
The shareware version is free and can be copied for free - in the original, complete distribution format. Shareware version of Excellink 2000 and higher has a limited 15-day trial period (no functional limitation); Excellink VBA version is limited to export of only 10 block references at a time (and has protected VBA source code). If you would like to obtain the full unlimited commercial version (VBA version includes VBA source code), please use the following online order form or contact CAD Studio.

Although changes are not systematically reviewed, Wikipedia's software provides tools allowing anyone to review changes made by others. Each article's History page links to each revision.[note 6][90] On most articles, anyone can view the latest changes and undo others' revisions by clicking a link on the article's History page. Registered users may maintain a "watchlist" of articles that interest them so they can be notified of changes.[91] "New pages patrol" is a process where newly created articles are checked for obvious problems.[92]
Translated articles represent only a small portion of articles in most editions, in part because those editions do not allow fully automated translation of articles. Articles available in more than one language may offer "interwiki links", which link to the counterpart articles in other editions.[170][171]
The operation of Wikipedia depends on MediaWiki, a custom-made, free and open source wiki software platform written in PHP and built upon the MySQL database system.[285] The software incorporates programming features such as a macro language, variables, a transclusion system for templates, and URL redirection.[286] MediaWiki is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) and it is used by all Wikimedia projects, as well as many other wiki projects.[285][287] Originally, Wikipedia ran on UseModWiki written in Perl by Clifford Adams (Phase I), which initially required CamelCase for article hyperlinks; the present double bracket style was incorporated later.[288] Starting in January 2002 (Phase II), Wikipedia began running on a PHP wiki engine with a MySQL database; this software was custom-made for Wikipedia by Magnus Manske. The Phase II software was repeatedly modified to accommodate the exponentially increasing demand. In July 2002 (Phase III), Wikipedia shifted to the third-generation software, MediaWiki, originally written by Lee Daniel Crocker.
Wikipedia has been widely used as a corpus for linguistic research in computational linguistics, information retrieval and natural language processing.[449][450] In particular, it commonly serves as a target knowledge base for the entity linking problem, which is then called "wikification",[451] and to the related problem of word-sense disambiguation.[452] Methods similar to wikification can in turn be used to find "missing" links in Wikipedia.[453]
Several interactive multimedia encyclopedias incorporating entries written by the public existed long before Wikipedia was founded. The first of these was the 1986 BBC Domesday Project, which included text (entered on BBC Micro computers) and photographs from more than a million contributors in the UK, and covered the geography, art, and culture of the UK. This was the first interactive multimedia encyclopedia (and was also the first major multimedia document connected through internal links), with the majority of articles being accessible through an interactive map of the UK. The user interface and part of the content of the Domesday Project were emulated on a website until 2008.[466]
