Do not completely abuse the codes. If you press any code many times, then the god to whom this code refers will be extremely dissatisfied with your behavior. And the gods, as you know, are very vengeful.

Pharaoh A New Era takes cheating to the next level. Not only do some of the old cheat codes still work, much to the delight of dancing hippo fans, but many are added to a brand-new menu that lets you truly customize your maps.
The cheat menu can feel slightly invasive so as a default it is turned off. To enable cheats you need to open the settings menu, select: Gameplay > Cheatcodes > Yes and then hit confirm.
This will bring up the cheat code box. Here, you can enter a cheat code without having to have cheats activated in the main menu. These are the cheats that still work, assuming the map supports them.
I played Pharaoh perfectly for a couple of hours. Then it froze for some unknown reason so I had to turn my comp off with the off/on button. Once I rebooted, everything looked fine but when I went to start up Pharaoh again, it asked me to insert the CD! Ah! What? It opened up CrossOver as normal but when I clicked "run already installed game" or whatever, the "please invert pharaoh CD" dialogue box popped up. Help?

Ptolemaic pharaohs were crowned by the Egyptian high priest of Ptah at Memphis, but resided in the multicultural and largely Greek city of Alexandria, established by Alexander the Great of Macedon.[13][14][15][note 12] They spoke Greek and governed Egypt as Hellenistic Greek monarchs, refusing to learn the native Egyptian language.[16][17][18][note 10] In contrast, Cleopatra could speak multiple languages by adulthood and was the first Ptolemaic ruler known to learn the Egyptian language.[19][20][18][note 13] Plutarch implies that she also spoke Ethiopian, the language of the "Troglodytes", Hebrew (or Aramaic), Arabic, the Syrian language (perhaps Syriac), Median, and Parthian, and she could apparently also speak Latin, although her Roman contemporaries would have preferred to speak with her in her native Koine Greek.[20][18][21][note 14] Aside from Greek, Egyptian, and Latin, these languages reflected Cleopatra's desire to restore North African and West Asian territories that once belonged to the Ptolemaic Kingdom.[22]
Cleopatra VII was born in early 69 BC to the ruling Ptolemaic pharaoh Ptolemy XII and an uncertain mother,[32][33][note 15] presumably Ptolemy XII's wife Cleopatra V Tryphaena (who may have been the same person as Cleopatra VI Tryphaena),[34][35][36][note 16][note 3] the mother of Cleopatra's older sister, Berenice IV Epiphaneia.[37][38][39][note 17] Cleopatra Tryphaena disappears from official records a few months after the birth of Cleopatra in 69 BC.[40][41] The three younger children of Ptolemy XII, Cleopatra's sister Arsinoe IV and brothers Ptolemy XIII Theos Philopator and Ptolemy XIV,[37][38][39] were born in the absence of his wife.[42][43] Cleopatra's childhood tutor was Philostratos, from whom she learned the Greek arts of oration and philosophy.[44] During her youth Cleopatra presumably studied at the Musaeum, including the Library of Alexandria.[45][46]
The Bust of Cleopatra in the Royal Ontario Museum represents a bust of Cleopatra in the Egyptian style.[446] Dated to the mid-1st century BC, it is perhaps the earliest depiction of Cleopatra as both a goddess and ruling pharaoh of Egypt.[446] The sculpture also has pronounced eyes that share similarities with Roman copies of Ptolemaic sculpted works of art.[447] The Dendera Temple complex, near Dendera, Egypt, contains Egyptian-style carved relief images along the exterior walls of the Temple of Hathor depicting Cleopatra and her young son Caesarion as a grown adult and ruling pharaoh making offerings to the gods.[448][449] Augustus had his name inscribed there following the death of Cleopatra.[448][450]
When you are fustrated with the game and just wanna finish bring up the cheat box and type in "pharaoh's tomb" and you should automatically finish the level you're on but you won't have many points for it.

These brief case studies demonstrate the intricate patterns that were created to interweave queenship in the royal and divine worlds, which influenced each other. The associations of the Ptolemaic queens and goddesses need to be further illuminated in more detail. For these studies of the Ptolemaic royal women, we need to trace the diachronic continuities and discontinuities that overlap in different layers, which have not all been recognized so far. Ancient Egyptian culture also has an analytical advantage in terms of mnemohistory, since it forms the past to which the Ptolemies, the Mediterranean rulers of Egypt with Macedonian ancestry, referred in different ways.102 Hence they were challenged to self-reflection. For the Ptolemies, Egypt became part of their own origin, into which they incorporated Greco-Macedonian and other elements. In contrast, when Octavian conquered Egypt, it developed into an icon of subjugated power, and this created the need for different cultural concepts and codes.103
The studio still had the Caesar 3 engine, which allowed players not only to design their cities but also forced them to deal with an increasingly complex set of demands to maintain prosperity, happiness, and growth. While one of the alternative concepts for city-building games, "Caesar in space," was quickly rejected, the idea of creating a game set in Ancient Egypt/Greece/India sparked tremendous interest from the European marketing team. Before 1999, only three people were working on the Caesar/Pharaoh engine: Simon Bradbury (Render/Code), Gabe Farris (GD/Code), and Mike Jigenrich (Code). About a year before the release of Pharaoh, a team of around 10 people was already working on the Pharaoh game code.
Haidi Mann was lead of the game's graphics, and she had previously worked on Caesar 2/3. As the lead artist on the project, she was responsible for creating the overall visual style of the game. Despite the game being set on a 2D grid, "Pharaoh" had amazind 3D graphics. The game's objects were first assembled in a 3D package, then a grid of tiles was placed over them, and artists manually redraw and applied to the original textures, giving the whole game a high-quality and picturesque appearance. Later, Haidi would refer to this technique as "ping-pong texturing" in one of her interviews. Technically, Haidi was the lead artist, but roles within the team were relatively - she worked on animations, while Chris, for example, handled everything for the ostriches, from code to textures.
