Hi Everyone,
Reminder that Problem Set #2 is due at noon today. We wouId appreciate
if you could make this deadline, or otherwise get to us this afternoon,
so we can grade without impinging too much on the weekend.
Also, I have provided updates to the PDFs of the last two lectures. It
turns out that slides 10 (handout) of the last lecture was correct,
because the premise of the slide as presented was that high altitude
clouds become LESS prevalent, which if true, would indeed be a negative
feedback. But, I got confused in front of class because I overlooked
this important detail.
Anyway, have updated both the the handout and class material to reflect
how low altitude clouds can provide either a positive or negative
feedback, and same for high altitude clouds. Please have a look and let
me and Pam know if you have any questions.
Will get AT 08 graded today, and Pam and I will be working on Problem
Set #2 as well as actually writing the exam.
Cheers,
Ross
