We are very happy to let you all know that Atmashrama is showcasing few of its contributions to Samskrita and Samskriti @ the upcoming World Samskrit Book Fair, Jan 7th - 10th, 2011. I want to take this opportunity to update all everyone about what we have been working on these days. All the volunteers have been working day and night to make our dream a reality. So, here we are with our dream fulfilled.
Atmopasana Dhyana Yoga DVD
This DVD introduces the Atmopasana Dhyana Yoga Meditation Technique through an absorbing short film explaining the concept and application of Atmopasana Dhyana Yoga. You are also taken through an actual guided meditation process via a 30 min audio session. We have a very catchy tune for our Atmopasana Mantra - Mama Swami Harir Nityam Sarvasya Patireva Cha. This tune is included in the DVD. It has been a trend among many to use this tune as a Ring Tone in mobiles to get oneself reminded of this great Mantra @ every step in our life. For those who like to chant this mantra, a Mantra Chant of 108 times is included. You can just play and follow the chant.
Atmopasana Dhyana Yoga - Handbook
This short 20 page handbook is a companion to the ADY DVD. This handbook explains what is Yoga, Karma Yoga and Atmopasana and puts the Atmopasana Dhyana Yoga in the right perspective. It further explains the Atmopasana Dhyana Yoga concept in greater depth. A FAQ section is also included at the end of the Handbook to answer some of the common questions about Atmopasana Dhyana Yoga.
Ede Sumanovanim - A tribute to Samskrit
The Sanskrit language is a window to opulent Bhaaratiya Culture. It is a rich, refined and amazingly perfect language. It is so perfect that it is worshipped as Sumanovani - the language of the Gods and personified as Goddess Saraswati. This Audio album is a tribute to the revered Goddess and gives a clarion call to young and old to embrace this divine language in 8 soul-filling songs set to melodious music. A grand release of this Album is scheduled to take place during the fair by National Leaders.
Samskrita Varna Maala
As a part of the Atmashrama Samskrita Sikshana Abhiyaan, we are pleased to bring out this Varnamaala Chart to help our tiny tots recognize Sanskrit letters and learn from this basic chart. We were surprised that no such attempt has been made so far to bring out a chart of Sanskrit letters on the lines of ABC chart of English language or A,AA,E,EE chart of Kannada or Hindi. Now, you can proudly display this attractive Sanskrit Varana Mala chart in your home and start teaching your little ones Samskrita letters and words!
Vedic Haridra
Atmashrama has been taking the cause of protecting our Environment very seriously. As a first step in this direction, Vedic Farming and Atmopasana Dhyana Yoga Technique have been applied to bring out Vedi Haridra, a pure spiritual Vedic Farming product. The quality, taste and aroma of this Haridra has spirituality and a sense of purity marked all over it. A short film on Vedic Farming is also being presented during the event.
Vyakarana Deepika
This is a course in basic Sanskrit Grammar using Power Point. It puts to use the cool animation features of ppt to present some of the difficult concepts of Vyakarana in a very simple and understandable way. We are fortunate that Jagadguru Shri 1008 Satyatma Tirtha Swamiji of Shri Uttaradi Math has blessed and greatly appreciated this effort to present difficult technical concepts in a simple graphical manner.
Samskrita Family
During the Fair, you will also have an opportunity to meet a Samskrita Family, yes you guessed it right! Their mother language is Sanskrit. How does it sound when a 2 year kid invites his brother to play in fluent Sanskrit? Want to experience this moment?
