PC Medlink Pilot:
The pilot will take place in Mozambique in a single sub office. There will be 1 PCMO and 30 volunteer participants in country and 1 medical secretary at HQ. The pilot will last for 1 month with a soft launch date of November 28th (Thanksgiving weekend). The reasoning for launching in this country first is that they are very organized and seamless process integration with the other posts in the country.
Project Scope:
We communicated to Patrick that at this point we feel confident that we can complete the functionality that is specified in the simulation prior to launch but that we have set a milestone in our project to see were we are in the first week of October to examine where we are and discuss any changes to project scope at that point. But for now we are working towards the simulation.
PC Resources and Support:
Discussed the serious nature of the lack of PC resources supporting the project and the impact it is having on team morale. Patrick assigned himself an action item to have someone that is technically appropriate engaged on the project as of Monday of next week. Patrick is reaching out to the technical team at PC HQ this week to secure resources that will be available for discussing code transfer and hosting issues.
Patrick & New Resource Visit to Atlanta:
I recommended that Patrick and his technical resource plan for a visit with the team, date TBD, in order to ensure a smooth hand off of the project assets weeks prior to launch. He agreed this is a good idea and we just need to give him a date to target.
Pilot training & launch materials:
Patrick and I are working on a separate work track to produce training materials, on boarding process and any other valuable documentation for the roll out of the pilot. Patrick has committed to setting up a meeting with a PC resource Daniel to help with these materials.
