Who are the Speakers:

 

 

Brad Cook launched a Medical Tourism initiative with an aggressive service oriented model that has helped position Hospital Clinica Biblica as one  of the top medical destinations in Latin America. Brad  is a pioneer in the field of international insurance billing  and  collections in Latin  America having provided this service for Hospital Clinica Biblica and  its physicians for the past 15 years. Bill brings extensive expertise in patient  case management and  now  they facilitate  case management for the interna- tional  departments of all major private  medical centers in Costa  Rica. Mr. Cook  successful international patient  program has been  viewed as a model for  other  hospitals in Latin  America who  are  implementing a medical tourism program of their  own and  he is often  contacted by hospitals and  governments as a consultant.

  

 

Marisol Wesson  serves as Director and President of DiscoverMedWorld, specializes in serving the needs of Insurers, Health Plans and Self Funded Employers, through an integrated model that allows Health Plans to offer immediate access to high quality care and provide more coverage at a lower cost.  She is a recognized International Business expert, a speaker in International Business and a well known Consultant  focusing on developing markets for major US Corporations and business turnaround strategic management. She has managed the startup of manufacturing and service companies in Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Mexico.  She received a BA in International Business Management at Manchester Metropolitan University, England and earned an MBA in International Marketing and Business Management from the University of Science and Technology (ULACIT). She is a member of the Board of Directors of the World Trade Center and a former member of the Board of Directors of the National Children's Hospital in Costa Rica.
