I like the concept of atlastory and I will try to help when I can. I am not familiar with GIS tools but I guess I can learn. I am a programmer (full-stack, can do node.js if help is needed), native French speaker, and of course I love history.

Hi ncknt, good to have you. In the near future we'll be making it much easier to contribute even if you don't have any GIS expertise. So stay tuned. We'll probably send out a notice via the mailing list when this happens.
