Oath request for adding activities to a Third Party Feed with the REST API

We are building a plugin to Jira cloud and are trying to add activities from a third party feed (or external application).

All the requests to Jira for GET and POST are working fine with JWT but when we do a JIRA REST API call with post and media header type value "application/vnd.atl.streams.thirdparty+json" it is not working.

It works with basic auth. Does it work with JWTs?

I have gone through this link https://developer.atlassian.com/docs/atlassian-platform-common-components/activity-streams/adding-activities-to-a-third-party-feed-with-the-rest-api but with oauth/jwt post request it does not work. 

Any resolution or example documentation of calling create activity feed with JWT will be really helpful. Thanks

Hi Christopher,

Atlassian Connect add-ons only have access to whitelisted REST API resources. The /activities REST API is not on the whitelist. Please vote for ACJIRA-20 if you would like to see it added.
