Some of us were talking about a forum to discuss aspects of developing
products and work based on Atlassian products. This could be it, and
could also be a good place to bounce other ideas and work around. The
group is open to everyone right now. It could be closed in the future
to keep the noise down. If no-one wants to use this group, we'll just
archive it in a few months.

There is a Confluence Development skype chat channel, and thanks to
the massively sucking Skype UI you don't appear to be able to use
their client to join without going via the web. Roberto posted to the
dev list details a while ago:

Ah, thats because of a weird character at the end of the URL ... when
you click on it make sure it ends with "...99" and you're fine.

It seems to open in the browser correctly, and it pops a window open
in Skype, but it's only showing Roberto in there, and I'm not sure if
it's really working correctly.

What would people think about switching to IRC?

The Skype thing works fine for me -- there should be over 20 people
listed, what client are you using for Skype?

IRC is a bit grim IMHO.

The URL posted doesn't end in "99" but I had more success after a few tries with just:
