Hi Christian,

Something strange happens here...

I downloaded the latest OAM-Austria and indeed with Elevate theme I see your screenshot.

But with default Osmarender theme or even Lightning of Tobias the map seems fine (see screenshots).

Can you confirm that?

Interesting, though I don't recall we changed the renderer in latest release.

Can you report it in the forum or issue list?

Hi Emux,

I found the reason why the elevate theme is failing:
Its the closed="yes" clause for a lot of renderrules - including waterways, forests, wood aso.

We invented this closed="yes" cause there are many multipolygones where the singlen non-closed elements (lines, ways) of these MPs are taged as eg. waterway=river. So the single Elements carry the tags of the relations.
This results in terrible rendered MPs.
Eg. in NewZealand nearly all rivers are tagged this way (automated import) resulting in real huge flooded aeras.

With the closed="yes" clause added to render rules this problem is solved.
So we would have to keep this rule in the theme.

Probably something has changed in the new version of the renderer handling the closed="yes".

Best regards
Christian

I can confirm this happens in Atlas-Beta 1.2.23 but not in Atlas-Beta 1.2.19

With the same map and theme in both versions?

Apparently something else is changed then in Mapsforge and we should check it.

Same map, same theme, same cause.

Thank you both for the report and the confirmation.

I found what we changed lately in Mapsforge (as part of POI refactoring) that causes the problem.

I created an issue in our list, for fixing it there.

I pushed the fix in Mapsforge repository.

It'll be included soon in next Beta versions of Atlas / Cruiser.
(normal versions don't have the issue)

Again thanks, for catching it!

New released Beta versions of Atlas / Cruiser include the fix for the multi-polygons.
