This is quite a different problem from the usual - I have been toying around with the idea of creating 3D renditions of Atlantis maps, like in the sketch I attached here. I used the rayshader package on r to try and do a better job of conveying what I'd like; unfortunately, while it looks pretty, the functionalities are limited and I can't find a way to show individual depth layers, or get the depths to show upside down without upsetting the whole thing.
While my aim is to get a basic 3D map with depth layers, I'd love to eventually get it to show the content of initial conditions and output... Does anyone have any leads on programs or languages that could help me with this?
