The main focus of the text is four topics that are essential for an understanding of advanced Algebra. These are properties of numbers, sequences and integration, polynomials, and graphs. With the right supervision, students should be able to complete this course with minimal assistance.

Students in grades nine and ten can take the advanced portion of this course, which focuses on topics such as modules on modules and sequences, symmetries, functions, and curves. This advanced course should also be taken with a teacher who has experience with teaching middle school students.
