Apologies if you get this email twice, just to announce that there is
a planned launch tomorrow of SDG-10 (15 October 2009, at 0400 UTC) - a
superpressure balloon on a trans-atlantic attempt. It'll have a HF
beacon onboard but no APRS. These guys launched a number of
trans-atlantic attempts both superpressure and zero pressure with
ballast in 2008 carrying APRS and HF beacons though often contact was
lost after leaving the US. Their HF beacon in 2008 was on 10m and from
what I can work out was CW.
