November 2025 Atlanta Sacred Harp singing update:


WE ARE BLESSED TO ANNOUNCE

The 200th. Anniversary Service at Hardeman Primitive Baptist Church 3965 Glenwood Rd. Decatur GA. 30032


We cordially invite all to join with us on Saturday 8th, November and Sunday the 9th. to celebrate the 200th. anniversary of the constitution of the church.

Services will begin at 10:00 in the morning, with congregational singing at followed by preaching of the gospel, fellowship and prayer in service to our Lord.

Following the morning service we will have lunch in the Fellowship Hall. Song and Preaching service will continue after lunch.

As we continue to enjoy God’s blessings at Hardeman Church we invite you to come share in those blessings and help us celebrate this special occasion.

Nov 1st, Saturday - 10:00am,  Denney Memorial at Emmaus Primitive Baptist Church on Oak Grove Church Road, Carrollton, GA. Dinner on the grounds at noon. 


Nov 2nd, Sunday - 10:00am, Holly Springs Memorial Singing at Holly Springs Primitive Baptist Church, Bremen, GA.  Dinner on the grounds at noon. 


Nov 4th & 19th - Tuesday or Wednesday, 7:00pm - Dahlonega Sacred Harp singing, We sing at the Vickery House on West Main Street, Dahlonega, GA. The Vickery House does not have a street address, but it is on Google Maps. Since we sing in the evenings, you can park in any UNG spot or right next to the back door of the Vickery House. We start with a brief introduction for newcomers at 6:45. Then we sing until at least 8:45, although sometimes we go a bit longer. All are welcome! Nov 6th, First Thursday - 7:00 PM  to 9:00 PM.   singing from The 2025 Sacred Harp and The Eclectic Harmony. Emory Presbyterian Church, 1886 North Decatur Rd, Atlanta GA 30307. Park behind the church, off Westminster Way.   Info:Jim Neal, jim_neal-at-bellsouth.net.


Nov 8th, Saturday before the Second Sunday, The ~29th Swannanoa Valley Singing. 10 AM–3 PM, Saturday,

Nov 17th, 3rd Monday Atlanta Singing, 7:30pm. In The Barn behind St. John the Wonderworker 543 Cherokee Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30312. The Barn- off of Orleans Avenue, walk up drive way behind the church. No musical experience needed. Contact info: Anna Hinton annajhinton at icloud dot com.


Nov 22nd & 23rd, Alabama Sacred Harp Musical Convention, Southside Community Center, 2142 Highway 77, Southside, Alabama 35907

Southside is located in the Gadsden area, south of Rainbow City on Alabama Highway 77. Dinner on the grounds. You are welcome to bring food for lunch.
