In celebration of fifty-five years of service to the Newnan area, the
Newnan Moose Lodge #1588 will be having a bar-b-que on Monday, July
4th. The bar-b-que will be served from 12 noon till 4pm or while the
food lasts. The menu for the event includes: bar-b-que pork, coleslaw,
Brunswick stew, pickles, bread and tea. The Newnan Moose Lodge is
conveniently located at 310 Millard Farmer Industrial Boulevard in
Newnan. Come by and eat with us or take a plate to go.
This event is open to the public. The proceeds from the dinner will go
to various local, state, and national programs that the Newnan Moose
Lodge and The Loyal Order of Moose participate in and support. The cost
is $6.00 per plate.
As always this will be an event with fun for the whole family. For the
Moose has claimed itself "The Family Fraternity." There will be a
horseshoe throwing tournament and a pool tournament to follow as well
as games and activities for the children. There will be a special
appearance by local clowns doing face painting and balloons from 12
noon until 3:00pm.
The Newnan Moose Lodge was established in June of 1950 and has served
Newnan and Coweta County faithfully through numerous Community Service
