1/15 Meeting Recap

Guys--

Good to be with a lot of you last night. Wanted to give a quick overview to keep everyone on the same page as we are really hitting the point where things need to start coming together.

• We had a strong quorum of guys together last night and feel there is sufficient enthusiasm and momentum to make the summer happen
• We have 3 applications in, 2 of which we feel pretty confident in, 1 of which may take some convincing but is a strong candidate.
• We are targeting 4 guys at a minimum for the summer
• We have one additional strong candidate, Jacob Smith (Merle's grandson, if you know Merle), who has not applied yet but seems very interested
• There are a few more irons in the fire, but nothing certain. We still need to be going down every potential avenue to find guys and remain prayerful that the Lord will provide
• Barin has a list of all potential contacts and is tracking everything, if you have another candidate please be sure to let him know
• As always, we love to have pairs of guys join us, so we are planning to ask some of the current candidates if they have a friend who could join
• Next steps will be looking toward jobs and responsibilities for the summer
• We will meet Wednesday, Jan. 29th all together. In the meantime, do not hesitate to reach out with anything summer related as it is crunchtime

Also, think it's time to make a few tweaks to the email list. If you for sure want to be included in things moving forward and haven't be able to be around much lately, just let me know and we'll keep you on the list.
