Hey Jen!
Thanks for responding and being open to the idea of
Creative Mornings. I'll give you the quick spiel on the event...
It's a monthly breakfast lecture series for creative folks that's totally free. Each event has about 20 mins of drinking coffee/ socializing, a 20 min lecture, and a 20 min Q&A with about 250 people in attendance. There are 55 chapters worldwide and our ATL chapter has been around for about a year and a half. We started the chapter because we believe in Atlanta and wanted to give the creative community a place to come together and get inspired to do greater things!
We have monthly themes and June is our "food" month. We had someone confirmed but they just had to cancel due to another conflict that popped up. Oddly enough, earlier this week I was watching some of the videos out there on you and Ryan's story and was really moved. I actually thought, "ugh. I wish I could have him speak at CM next month." As fait would have it, we now have an opening :)
The event is on June 28th at 8:30am and will wrap around 9:30am. It'd really just be Ryan (or both of you guys) sharing his story and how the restaurant community rallied around you guys.
If you're interested we can hop on a quick phone call and talk more. I'd love to lock-in a speaker as soon as possible, but certainly understand if you guys need to think about it :)
Thanks!
Blake

Awesome Jeremy! Thank you.
Funny enough, Diane Riffle from Octane texted me an hour ago giving me the heads up and then so did Liz Chai of Matchstic! Love the synergy.
We will wait to hear more details to see if this is something we can do.
Can't tell you how much appreciation we have!!
I give hugs.

Hey Jen and Ryan,
I wanted to introduce you to Blake Howard who is the co-founder/co-owner of Matchstic a top branding house here in Atlanta (they did the design for Bearings). He also heads up Atlanta's chapter of Creative Mornings (which I've been to often and they are great). Blake read the Bearings article on you guys and thought Ryan's story would be a great one for the next gathering, which is on the theme of food.
I think it would be a good opportunity for you guys to get in front of more people, but I'll let Blake take it from here and explain it all more in-depth.
