Jan. 25th Creative Mornings!

Hey Y'all!

Our next event on Jan. 25th w/ Hank Richardson is all set! We will be at the 112 Gallery again.

Parking is super easy (Yay!), but the event setup is alittle more hands on. We will be setting up Thursday Jan. 24th around 4pm. Moving chairs/ tables, etc. Who all can help?

Mark Cole is going to run sound for us! Yay! He's CC'd above! That's the biggest challenge with the 112 space. So I'm pumped he'll be there to help!

Kelly, can you connect with Octane and whomever you'd like to do breakfast?

Excited about kicking 2013 off well! Attached are the results from the survey I sent out. We had 24 people take it and got great feedback (and some crazies always chime in – so take it with a grain of salt).

A few comments that stood out to me:

It's starting to feel like church

Maybe there's a way to make one or two CM's more interactive throughout the year. It could be as simple as everyone coloring in a square instead of writing a funny name tag.

More promotion beforehand

Not just tweets... It'd be great to do more of what we did for the Henry & Co. CM, before the actual event. Maybe not to such great lengths, but even just a little poster or video. I'm sure we could get Brent to help out if need be.

Other industries

Man, you can tell we're designers. We've been very focused in the Ad/Design field

Here's a few we should try to hit this year: Architecture, fashion, music, literature, theatre/performing arts

I just emailed Octane and Little Tart. Hopefully they'll be on board to cater. I'll keep you posted if I hear anything different. Are we planning on 200?

I am not sure what max capacity is. I know we can only have maybe 180 chairs then there is standing room like last time.

We can squeeze as much as possible.
