Barry,
I am attaching a word doc that has the next article on it. When you send it to editing, I would be on the lookout for tense consistency. I changed the whole narrative part from present to past tense, and I think I got it all, but I'm not sure. I think it makes sense alongside the literary present tense describing the actions inside the painting.
The one thing that I thought would be neat, but I just don't have, is an exterior of the terminal building. I don't know if you would be able to come across one. It's just a damned striking building.
At any rate, there are 4 images attached as JPGs. They should be set side by side on the page, I think, and share a caption. They are all from Susan Gerbic, a skeptic in LA who offerend them to me as long as she received credit.
