Putting on my EPD hat...  Here's a good opportunity for Dekalb County residents to get rid of those old paint cans that keep stacking up, or fluorescent light bulbs or other materials you generally don't like to send to the landfills.  Feel free to pass it along.
 
Date: Saturday, March 31st, 2012
Time: 8 a.m. — 12 Noon
Place: DeKalb County Sanitation Division Central Transfer Station, 3720 Leroy Scott Drive Decatur, GA 30030

Items accepted:
Aerosols
Mercury (thermometers, light ballasts)
Batteries
Adhesives 
Flammables
Lawn-care products (pesticides, herbicides, etc.)
Automotive products F
Fluorescent bulbs (all kinds)
Photo chemicals
Hobby and artists supplies
Paints and paint-related products
Cleaners and swimming pool chemicals
