Want to serve on the 2016 Atlanta Emerging Librarians (AEL) Planning Committee?
AEL is a standing committee of GLA's New Members Round Table (NMRT). The purpose of AEL is to create in-person connections between MLIS students, new graduates, and new librarians in the Metro Atlanta area. Each year the group hosts four events that offer networking and professional development opportunities.
Serving on the committee gives you the opportunity to program workshops, meet other library professionals, develop networking skills, and have a good time. It is a great experience!
While not a requirement to serve on the planning committee, preference will be given to currently enrolled library science students or recent graduates (within the last year).
