The Satilla Regional Library and South Georgia State College
announce a vacancy in their dual graduate internship in academic and public
libraries.
Now accepting applications for the Spring semester. An eligible student
enrolled in an American Library Association accredited library science graduate
program will be selected to work in the two institutions. Work assignments will
provide the student with opportunities to develop a range of specific skills
needed to work professionally in either a public or academic library setting.
By allowing exposure to both environments, the student will have a unique
opportunity to gain insight into which career path he or she may find most
desirable.
The internship provides a stipend of $2,000.00 per semester plus lodging
provided within the Housing and Residents Life department at the South Georgia
State College campus in Douglas, Georgia.
