"The GALILEO Annual Conference on June 16th will feature a panel discussion on cross-library collaboration. The panel members and audience will discuss some of the activities and services they have offered or received from different kinds of libraries. For example, sometimes academic instruction librarians provide an information literacy session for local high schoolers; academic librarians may send students to the public library for children’s literature; K-12 schools may work with public libraries to get students a library card. If you have done anything like this with libraries in your area, please contact Karen Minton karen....@usg.edu.
The conference will be held at the Middle Georgia State University conference center in Macon. For more information and to register, visit the conference website. Registration is free. Attendance is capped at 240."
