I don't know about anybody else, but I gotta curl tonight instead of teaching. I haven't curled in ages.

The event is full...I say for those we need to teach (there are only 3 players who are non-members, right?), we give them the 5 minute version and then let them play in a whole game.

Perhaps while we are doing ice prep, someone can go over some things with them briefly. If there are 3 people, we can give them quick one-on-one tutorials right before they start.

I say we just integrate new players into the games. That's the best way to learn. We'll keep instructing as we go along. Everyone will teach.

All of us want to curl at these events. If they are full, it shouldn't be a problem to do that. We don't have the ice space for a whole sheet of teaching anyways!

It looks like we have 4 non-members with us tonight. We can spread them out instead of putting them all together.

I think that is smart. Spread them out, but they can also play against each other if they are friends and then they get to interact, but also interact a lot with the team.

Everyone at the event should help look after new players and teach them things and help them out. Even if they've only curled once or twice, they have something to teach people who have never played before.
