Get discounted weekend passes, vendor tables, program ads for your business, show, troupe, or even to promote yourself as an individual performer as well as some amazing prizes starting at only $5!  We have until 2:10pm EST on October 3rd to reach our goal.  We're about half way through our 30 days and hope that you'll help us keep this festival going four our 4th year!  Below is the official word from our Kickstarter!

What is Southern Fried Burlesque Fest?  It is a yearly gathering each March of burlesque performers and enthusiasts from around the world in Atlanta, GA.  People come to perform, watch, teach, learn and compete. For one weekend you can come and participate what has lovingly been called burlesque camp.  You come see amazing shows, learn amazing things and   make amazing friends that will last you a life time!  We also bring in burlesque legends and modern day international burlesque stars such as: Satan's Angel, Kitten De Ville, Roxi D'lite, Perle Noire, Tiffany Carter, Shannon Doah, Toni Elling, and Dirty Martini, just to name a few!  Here's a video from our 2012 festival to give you an idea of the awesomeness that happens over this amazing four day weekend!

Each year it costs around $30,000 to produce the Southern Fried Burlesque Festival in Atlanta, GA.  We've been growing by leaps and bounds but our producers no longer have a nest egg to front the money that then gets made back by ticket sales.  That's why we're having a kick starter, to raise the money we need to pay off the 2013 out standing bills and get the deposit for 2014.  

We are asking for $5,000 for this kickstarter.  As of right now there is $2,500 remaining that we need to pay off from the 2013 bills.  This will pay off the outstanding balance owed to our sound and lighting people as well as the hotel rooms for our out of town guests.  In order to secure the space for 2014 we need a deposit of $2,000 to give to the hotel.  The additional $500 we have asked for will cover kick starter fees.

If we go over our goal, here's a list of additional things that we'll put the money towards:

$500 to print programs and badges

$2,500 for our sound and lighting company

$3,000 to print t-shirts and hoodies

$7,000 for air fare, travel costs and pay for our headliners

$15,000 is the approximate total cost for the hotel rental and hotel staff fees so we will definitely be putting funds towards that.
