Hey
Jason,
It
sounds like your shoulder is available.
I like
the idea of getting everyone together who can help out and then dividing up
the tasks. I'm still settling my schedule for this coming weekend, but
I'll send out an invite once I know when I'll be available. I'll also
provide some options so we can decide what time would match up the
best.
I
think getting together will be particularly good for some of the
larger projects we're considering:
-
Review and evaluation of our CRM system
-
Automating the capture of bicycle counts and surveys
- Bike
Train tool for organizing and publicizing bike trains
-
Online version of the Bike Suitability maps
Getting together would also be a good chance for me to walk through what
it takes to work over the internet. Having worked remotely for many years,
it caught me off guard how difficult this would prove to be.
If someone has time and interest to work on one of the tasks listed below
before we meet, we'll walk through it together. If something is
complete by the time we meet, that's OK. New work will probably pop up
;).
My
interest in in spreading the workload across multiple volunteers who will have
experience with ABC's website and software tools. This list below is a good list
to "train" with.
Interested to hear other's viewpoints on this and also if there are tasks
anyone would like to tackle before we meet as a group. Any of the six
tasks below would be an opportunity to transfer some knowledge while making
some progress on the To Do list.
Jett
