Example of bike route site with slope indicator

Nice app using Google maps as a base.  Use the default addresses to see a route that is color-coded for slope.  Nice--would be good for hilly Atlanta.

I considered doing something like that. The way they implement it with dozens of short lines is poorly done though. It would render much faster if they used one polyline and several short red lines superimposed just for the hills. 
 
I instead decided to use a crossection elevation graph to show hills on the Y-Axis. Perhaps both would be a good idea.
