Hello! How have you been?
My warm greetings and love to you!
I've just returned home from Bonn, Germany and I still cannot believe I had such a wonderful week of time. The International Youth Conference @ Bonn was glorious and truly it was a life-time experience being around there.
In fact, I was one of those fortunate young speakers to get a chance to host a workshop on " Global Warming" and "Role of Youth in combating climate change".Our presentation was on Sept 15th and I believe LUGT has made a very positive impact on the international audience.
I've also been fortunate to meet some of the finest people of this century, the alternative Nobel laureates and Peace laureates.
Mr Alyn Ware(New Zealander fighting for Nuclear Disarmament), Mr Raul Montenegro(Argentina), Mr Tony Clarke(Canadian) and Mr Jakob von Uexkull(Founder and Chairman of the Alternative Nobel Prize Foundation) were few of the 30 laureates I'd met.
It was truly an inspirational moment to interact with them and learn about the future problems (or rather solutions) of the world.
Besides, I've made very good friends with some of the international youth from all possible continents.(and some European Parliament youth representatives). We're planning to expand the network beyond the current gamut. Plans have already been stirred to host the forth-coming conferences in Egypt and India.(possibly)
Most likely, I might also get a chance to visit the Nobel Peace Summit (in 6months or sooner) where President Obama is expected.
I can only be thankful to God and you all for such opportunities are helping me broaden my view of life and bettering my insight.I was super excited to share all this news with you. I also met a few UN delegates and handed over(along with the Germans) a manifesto that will be read out in the UN Summit, Newyork this late September.
I donno how humanities have struck me big time but I love my computers too.
And btw, I've also got my call letter from TCS to join this Oct 28th in Chennai.I'm super excited to everything ahead. It's time we carry the green torch to Chennai too.
All our mentors,I cant ask for anything better but for your blessings further in life.
I was very eager to write this mail and finally I'm done. Sorry for the length.
Wish you a lovely day,
Thank you for your blessings. You've always been my support and I'm indebted. Despite all this, I can't stop acknowledging the fact that BVRIT has given us the best launch pad ever. My heart still wanders in those lush green woods of BVRIT.
