Big events are happening in Rokugan, and they are almost certain to be made public after the twin interactives tomorrow. If you are subscribed to the main Heroes of Rokugan mailing list and/or your clan mailing list, I STRONGLY recommend unsubscribing or going to web-only mode until after you have played the two-round mod "Emperor's Favor." There are BIG spoilers ahead, and I would encourage everyone to avoid them so as to get the full effect of that (excellent) adventure.

I will be happy to run "Emperor's Favor" (or the other premieres) when I get back to the ATL (although you should really play "Fire and Water'" before "Emperor's Favor" if possible). I am excited about this campaign all over again, and would like to get people caught up!

Best,

Brian

Okay, I've updated the Google Docs spreadsheet
(https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkVmOfd9u3yKdE1ESVJNYUFDajN0OWpDdUpncDRkNWc&authkey=CJ-7qfQP)
with the HoR mod names and blurbs from Origins and Gen Con. Most of
the mods don't need to be played in any particular order, but I would
recommend playing "Fire and Water" before "Emperor's Favor" and
"Prison of Earth" if possible.

I can currently run everything except the new intro mod ("Ancestral
Dictate"), and will be happy to do so. I am currently free on both the
weekends of the 13th/14th and 20th/21st, if folks are interested in
starting the catch-up process.

Also, for those who are interested in the outcome of the battle interactive:

Crab defeated Crane (narrowly)
Dragon defeated Phoenix (narrowly)
Scorpion defeated Mantis (significantly)
Unicorn defeated Lion (narrowly)

These battles resulted in some minor territorial gains and losses, and
also additional assets to be utilized in the social interactive, about
which I can't share much more without spoiling Emperor's Favor.

And finally, the "Great Clans" sourcebook is out, and I have a copy.
Lots of information on all the clans, as well as a number of new
schools (Kuni Witch Hunter, Daidoji Scout, Matsu Beastmaster, Tsuruchi
Bounty Hunter, Shosuro Actor, Yogo Wardmaster, Moto Vindicator, and
quite a few more).

Best,

Brian

I would like to second Brian's comments. I ran games all weekend at GenCon, and they are a very good set of mods. I also suggest playing the mods in this order- Fire and Water, Emperor's Favor, everything else...

I'm also up on all the mods, and available to run tables over the next few months as needed. The next major event for HOR is in November (KC Game Fest), followed by WIR in Early February or late January.

I am open to a "game day" at the Marriott, if we can get enough interest in it. I'd like to use the Japanese Tea Garden for part of the day. It would be fun!
