Apigee Platform Engineer || Minneapolis, MN || 8+ Months
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Apigee Platform Engineer is a generalist with a solid background in Linux administration. The engineer is responsible for the continued operation and maintenance of the Apigee on-prem environment. The duties include setup, patching, security, troubleshooting, scaling, and performance of the environment.
We’re looking for:
• Initial setup of environment.
• Taking ownership and accountability for the incident resolution process.
• Day to day operational support.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues.
Technical Skills:
MUST HAVE
• 2+ Years Cassandra, Zookeeper, Postgres.
• 7+ Years Linux (RHEL/CentOS) system administration.
• Good communication /client facing skills
NICE TO HAVE
• Ansible
• Can write shell scripts
• Apigee On-Prem Production Support
• Understands HTTP communication (Wireshark, TCPDump)
• Ability to manage a firewall.
• TLS 1.2 certificates, keystore and truststore
• System monitoring (OS, CPU, Memory, network)
• Work with performance testers
• Monitoring, Logging, Auditing
• Agile /SCRUM project methodology
