Job Title: RF System Performance Engineer
Job Location: ATLANTA, GA

In this job as a RF System Performance Engineer your daily duties will
include: Propagation studies using propagation modeling software tools
(ANET, Wizard, Planet etc), Evaluating potential cell site locations and
design parameters, RF Link budget analysis, Cell site integration and
optimization, Interference and frequency planning studies, Data
collection and analysis for site optimization, Monitoring and analyzing
network performance statistics and Identifying network problems and
resolving customer trouble tickets. 1-3 years operational experience
with iDEN, GSM, IS136, or CDMA. BS/MS EE or EET or Military equivalent
experience. Thorough understanding of RF propagation theory and
prediction tools. Thorough understanding of antenna theory (i.e.
polarization, antenna patterns). Thorough understanding of network
optimization practices and performance statistics. Basic understanding of
cell site equipment and network architecture. Basic understanding of
frequency planning and interference analysis. Data collection and
analysis skills. Working knowledge of mapping tools (MapInfo, Street
Atlas). Basic computer programming and database management skills. Must
be permanent resident or US citizen; sponsorship is not available.
Mandatory Skills: Code Division Multipel Access, Engineering, GSM, Radio
Frequency
This will be a Permanent position (Direct Placement), with a pay rate of
