Got an old AppleTV 1 - First Generation silver box... that you think
has seen better days or you retired to a closet long ago..... then maybe
I can freshen it up for you or even upgrade to the latest and greatest
update that you didn't even know was available....

Yes there are 3rd party upgrades available for your aging AppleTV 1
first generation Silver box that make it comparable to Netflix, Redbox,
or Roku .....
You won't get 1080p viewing like the other boxes provide but you have a
choice of viewing specs....

Stop renting or buying movies or paying for on-demand shows... Quit the
torrent downloads....
Tired of paying for cable and unlocking channels and on-demand, try this

Yes the box is old and maybe slow at times with glitches here and there
but compare it to your paying alternatives...
With a decent enough fast internet connection the lag is only occasional
and not even noticeable...
All boxes are not alike depending on how long you've had it and wear and
tear....

Want to try before you convert over, i have a demo box available....

You can install to a usb thumb drive plugged into the back of your unit
instead of permanently to the internal harddrive of your unit but the
speed and viewing won't be as fast...
If you install onto a thumb drive, the contents of your AppleTV box are
unaffected. You can unplug and retain your original box contents...

If your box is off in a closet somewhere gathering dust then what do you
have to lose ?

If i can't fix or upgrade it then - no charge.... Some boxes can't be
repaired, at least not by me so what do you have to lose ?

Reload version 2 or 3 operating system - $50.... (Still the original pay
per view stuff available)
Upgrade to the newest operating system - $85 (all movies and on-demand
free unless otherwise noted)

(spare hdmi port and cable required for upgraded boxes, avi connections
no longer supported...)
