Im using PowerPoint 2007 and there is a setting that supposedly does exactly this (Advance Slide Automatically After: ) but it does not work at all. On every slide, I type 15 into the textbox and it shows 00:15. But when I click Slide Show / From Beginning or Slide Show / From Current Slide it absolutely does not work.

ED2: OK, some people had the same problem with powerpoint before. Here's one solution. It's for PPT2003, but from what I've gathered "this is not a bug, it's a feature" :) So chances are that it's the same in next versions.

I had this same problem, and every answer returned by google has something to do with music. My slide show has NO music, only simple fade transitions and a 5 second delay (auto advance) applied to all slides in the standard way. I kept digging, because there were NO answers on line about this.

Auto-playing presentations are also great for employee training, meetings where the speaker is absent, and reaching remote clients or customers. Microsoft provides easy steps to turn your PowerPoint into an autoplay presentation.

Navigate to Slide Show > Record Slide Show to begin your recording. Click End Show and save your file once you are done recording. After saving, your presentation is ready to be sent to clients, customers or played at your convention or conference booth.

Luckily, PowerPoint autoplay allows users to set up their slides, so they automatically change. That way, they can focus on their presentation without interruptions. There are options to have slides timed to music or voiceovers and make each slide the same length.

The presentation was created as autoplay slideshow (in Microsoft PowerPoint working), but in my application presentation was still on first slide. Run command isn't right?

I do not have documentation at hand, but my thought is Run.Width and Run.Height must be provided in points, not in pixels. My poor man solution to convert pixels to points is here, and it works for me in my tests here... to find the correct way to convert in your environment is up to you.

Run is a method of TOleContainer, it is not a method specific to any kind of OLE object, say, a power point presentation or a bitmap image.. Documentation states "Call Run to ensure that the server application is running..".

Are you setting up a slideshow at a convention or trade show, or maybe in a conference room or waiting area? You can easily set up a Microsoft PowerPoint slideshow to run automatically without a speaker at all. This lets you present your product, service, or company mission to a broad audience without manual intervention.

With slide timings, you rehearse and record the timings for all slides. Simply move through the slideshow at a normal pace, use the control to advance to each effect and slide, and save the recorded timings when you finish.

Another way to automatically choose the slide advance timings is using the Transitions tab. If you apply slide transitions to enhance the appearance of your presentation, this is a good option. However, you can choose None if you want to advance the slides without an effect between them.

When you create a self-running presentation, you have to be sure that your slides can speak for themselves. This might require you to adjust the text for clarity or shorten lengthy paragraphs or sentences. Luckily, Plus AI can help you make these types of changes almost effortlessly.

Sadly, Google Slides does not support looping or auto-playing presentations in editing mode. Since autoplay is a feature of the slideshow, which is only available on full screens, we cannot access it without turning on the slideshow.

The Power BI Windows app was retired on December 31st, 2023, and is no longer supported. It's been removed from the Microsoft apps store, and no further product updates for it will be released. Please use the Power BI service to view your Power BI content on Windows devices.

You can use presentation mode to display reports and dashboards in full-screen on Windows devices. Presentation mode is useful for displaying Power BI at meetings or conferences, or on a dedicated projector at the office, or even just for maximizing space on a small screen.

In the Power BI Windows app, tap the Switch to presentation mode icon. The app chrome disappears and the action toolbar appears at the bottom of the screen or on the right and left sides (depending on your screen size).

You can undock the toolbar and drag and drop it to anywhere on the screen. This is useful for large screens, when you want to focus on a specific area in your report and want to have the tools available next to it. Just place your finger on the toolbar and swipe it into the report canvas.

You can play a slideshow to automatically cycle through your presentation. You can set the slideshow to cycle through pages, bookmarks, or both pages and bookmarks. During the slideshow, report pages with auto page refresh will continue to automatically refresh as configured, ensuring that the most current data is always shown.

When you select the Play button on the action toolbar, the slideshow begins. A controller appears that allows you to pause the slideshow or to change what's being played: pages, bookmarks, or both pages and bookmarks.

The controller shows the name of the currently displayed view (page or bookmark and page). In the image above, we see that in the report called Sales, we are currently viewing the Asia Pacific bookmark on the Sales Performance page.

You can set up the Power BI Windows app to start playing a slideshow automatically whenever the app is launched. This option is useful for creating a kiosk-like experience that runs a report in public displays without any manual intervention. See Slideshow settings for detail about setting up a report for autoplay.

By default, a slideshow cycles through pages only, at a rate of one every 30 seconds. You can change this default behavior by going to Settings > Options, as illustrated below. You can also turn on autoplay and choose a report to play.

If you want your report to start playing automatically when the app is launched, turn on the toggle and choose Select Report. You will be able to search for reports you have access to.
