This extension enables connectivity between your browser and JDownloader, a Java-based download manager. The extension offers two modes of operation:1. It allows you to send downloading jobs directly from the right-click context menu.2. It can interrupt the built-in download manager and redirect the requests to JDownloader.By default, the interruption mode is inactive. Click the action button (toolbar button) once to activate it. To turn off the interruption mode, click the action button again?the interruption mode can help you when a website does not provide direct download links.Native Integration:For this extension to communicate with JDownloader and execute native commands, a native client is required. The instructions for installing this NodeJS native client are provided when you use the extension for the first time. Additionally, please note that this extension only connects your browser to the JDownloader, so you must have the JDownloader application installed on your operating system for the extension to work. You can review the code of the native client at: -client/releases. A brief video tutorial on installing and using the native client is available at: =vSnZp2wflTcIt is important to mention that this extension uses JDownloader's local server to send downloading jobs to the external downloader. The extension can work correctly without installing the native client as long as JDownloader is running in the background. The native client is only necessary to start the downloader when the server is not present.Logs:Version 0.1.61. Fixed issue with tab names not being sent to JDownloader.Version 0.1.71. Added functionality to download all links with JDownloader.

Good morning. I installed JDownloader but I'm having problems with permissions. After installing the OMV I created a group called omv-users which houses my personal user and with that I can manage the files in the shared folders. I installed JDownloader but I had to do it as root user. It doesn't matter in which folder he saves the files, the owner is always root and I can't manipulate them. Even if I start JDownloader using my personal user, it downloads the files as root and I can do almost nothing with them. Is there any way to resolve this?

I found a solution using chmod g+s 'folder' command. Now JDownloader creates files and folders belonging to the same group as the main folder. The owner of the files is still root but the regular user will also be able to manipulate the files. I was suggested to use the command chmod +t 'folder' so that the owner of the folder would be inherited by the files as well. Another option would be to run JDownloader with the command sudo -u 'user' java -jar JDownloader.jar &. Do any of these other two options make sense? Is there any other better way or is it better to leave it as it is?

Hello, Sorry, newbie here. I just starting using jdownloader with real debrid. I'm wonder if anyone has a guide/how to make them work together? I would assume logging in on jdownloader into real debrid would help autogenerate the real debrid links, but it doesnt. For example, linkgrabber will pickup a filegator link, and if i start the download, itll download from filegator instead of real debrid. Isnt the real debrid plugin supposed to help with that? Or am i thinking about it wrong. Currently I just manually copy the link into real debrid, then grab the real debrid link. Any advice or tips would be helpful, thanks!

You have 2 different ways to add a subfolder with the name of your package to the download path or newly added packages.
Make sure that there is not more than one of these options enabled or you might end up getting several subfolders.
If you want to disable this feature, make sure to disable BOTH of these settings!

The first option is part of our Packagizer feature.

1. If you do not use any of the (default) Packagizer features at all and want to DISABLE this Setting, go to Settings --> Advanced Settings --> PackagizerSettings: Packagizer --> Disable this setting
or
2. Open a JDownloader with GUI and set your Packagizer settings as described at the beginning of this article.
Then go to Settings --> Advanced Settings --> PackagizerSettings: Rule List --> Copy everything in "Value"
In myjdownloader, go to Settings --> Advanced Settings --> PackagizerSettings: Rule List --> Paste the data you've copied from your other JDownloader here
To re-enable this Setting, simply repeat this process.

Seems well done, but when I search for jdownloader with unity, there is no icon in search results. I removed completely this package with the help of synaptic soft manager several times, and reinstalled. Result is same

I paste the link of steamrip into jdownloader and it comes up with 2 warnings about youtube playlists(???) If I ask it to ignore, it comes up with no links but if I proceed it comes up with many links but not the one I need to download. I even clicked on the download button and redirected to megadb and pasted the link from there but no links show up on jdownloader.

I am a bit surprised not to have found anyone talking about this yet since JDownloader is one of the most popular cross-platform download clients that works with most online file hosters. Every once in a while there is a show that is impossible to find on Usenet, but you can still find on a file hosting site. This was my main use for Drone Factory and used it quite often - critical to a fully automated set up! JDownloader even has a slick remote dashboard (and app) called My JDownloader to control downloads, enter CAPTCHAs, etc. remotely.

JDownloader is a free download-manager that makes downloading as easy, fast and automated as it should be. It's like your personal internet robot that does all the work for you. He will download whole photo albums, playlists or just about anything else with just one click. Go ahead and try it!

If you are using jdownloader2 beta, chdir into the cfg directory, where you should find a number of downloadListXXX.zip files where XXXX is some number. Shutdown jdownloader2, rename or copy the latest file into downloadList.zip (save your existing downloadList.zip somwhere if it exists), and finally start jdownloader2 and most of your download links should be restored.

Since this extension needs to execute native commands to communicate with the JDownloader, a native client is needed. The instruction to install this NodeJS native client is shown on the first use. Also note that this extension only calls the JDownloader, so you need to have this application on your operating system for this extension to work. You can check the code of the native client on -client/releases. There is a short video tutorial about the installation of the native client and its usage:

JDownloader is a free and open-source powerful download manager written in Java. It allows you to download files from the internet quickly and easily. With JDownloader, you can manage your downloads from a single, centralized location without dealing with different downloader applications.

JDownloader is safe as a vault in Fort Knox! But as with any software, ensure you download it from the official website and decline any offers during the installation. You will not have to worry about malware or viruses if you download the software from the official site.

JDownloader 1 was almost a de-facto standard for multimedia downloads and management from the Internet. The software is a true classic. But now JDownloader 2 (beta for a while) is out there with a stable release (since May 2016). The latest JDownloader 2 build includes interface adjustments, better performance, and +3000 supported sites.

JDownloader 2 has several tools and features that can help you get the most out of the program. The coolest features are the pause/resume, link grabber, download challenge solutions, and integration with VPNs.

JDownloader 2 allows you to download multiple files simultaneously from different site connections. In addition, if you are a premium user from a host file site, you can get multiple connections per downloaded file. Example types of these sites include Usenet, Adult content, multi-hosters, and video streaming. Downloading with multiple connections is a fantastic feature to increase your download speeds.
