The JCP EC elections are open.

JSR 330 experts and observers,

I'm running for the JCP EC. It's a long shot. I'm running against Azul, Eclipse, Google, and three others for just two open seats. Oracle is replacing Doug Lea with Hologic, Inc.; it's never been more important to vote an individual into the EC.

If elected, I'll pave the way for future JSRs like 330. I'll introduce an abbreviated process for "Open JSRs." This easier, shorter, simpler process will motivate open JSRs and attract experts to the JCP. It will enable experts like ourselves to focus more on tech and less on process.
