Living in AR lands

I live near the Pacific coast--craggy, rocky hills reaching right to
the sand, sometimes with small half-hidden coves--perhaps a bit like
GN, but with serious ocean waves to navigate in order to reach the
shore. On our other side is the Cascade Range, huge foothills with
glacier-covered snowcaps ("real" mountains!) standing above them.
Again, a bit like Kanchenjunga, but more densely forested with tall
fir trees, and much higher up in elevation. Nancy would have loved
these mountains!
