Some participants have asked why we canceled the Gainesville CRIT &
replaced it with a Circuit on Sunday.

Rationale: Safety First

The GC does races in the rain and less-than-perfect weather all the
time. Ex. Rome & this Morning’s TT

Our # 1 goal is Safety and to protect the participants of the GC. We
follow the National Weather Service’s advice - When they issue an
“EXTREME” Weather advisory coupled with the very limited time window
we had to do the Gainesville CRIT we chose to replace it with a
CIRCUIT.

We realize we can’t make everyone happy but rest assured our decisions
will always be based upon Safety First then followed by LOTS OF FUN.


Sunday will be an “EPIC” day of racing. The Masters, Competitive &
Beginners will be racing as much as 70+ miles & the ProAm & Elite
around 100 total miles. Typically we would not put so much racing all
on one day but it was either cancel a race and not replace it or
replace it. We replaced it and hope everyone enjoys the courses.

REST UP TONIGHT & TAKE IT EASY. TOMORROW WILL BE FUN!!



REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE

We are looking for 2 follow vehicles for the races tomorrow & need 3
Volunteers for the RR and 3 for the Circuit.
