Today is a great day for a bike ride with the sunlight finally peaking through the clouds. Today's rides, all beginning at 6:00pm include:

• The Beginner ride from Oconee Heights Baptist Church

• The Elk ride from Pittard Park in Winterville

• The Antelope ride from behind the Watkinsville Courthouse

• The Cheetah ride from the Silos on Old Jefferson River Road

Make your choice for this evening, pick-up your noble steed, or maybe your bike, and join your friends, new, old and future for a ride.

AGB Tip of the Week:

Fenders. Though from a style perspective fenders have lost favor over the past few decades, when riding in the rain fenders are wonderful accessories. Many fenders today are made to be quickly added or removed from your bike, so if you think you may get caught in a downpour, since you are riding on a rain predicted day, they can be temporarily added and then removed. Please remember, though you may ride in the rain with your new fenders, most group rides are canceled if it is raining or the roads are wet.
