APR Youth soccer registration is going on now

All,

Many people didn't hear about the APR youth soccer sign up last season
and missed the deadline. I just found out that registration is open now
until 8/31. Please help spread the word.

Here is the information I got from the rec center. If you have any
questions or comments, please contact them directly.

Registration began on Monday, July 23
Registration will end on Friday, August 31

The fee is $32 per athlete

Games will begin on September 19 and run thru October 24

Coaches meeting will be on Monday, September 10th at 6pm

Kindergarten and 1st/2nd grade teams will have a new format this
season. They will be more instructional focused rather than game
focused. The kids will still play games but they will resemble a
scrimmage type game. This will help build and develop their skills so
that they can merge into competitive play easier.
3rd/4th and 5th/6th will remain with their usual format.

Kindergarten and 3rd/4th play on Tuesday and Thursdays at 515 or 615
1st/2nd and 5th/6th play on Monday and Wednesday at 515 or 615

Hello:

As far as I can say at this time, I am willing to coach whatever 3rd/4th grade team my daughter Siena will be on...  I should be able to attend most or all matches (I didn't miss one in the spring season), but if a Judge tells me to be in Court late on a Tuesday/Thursday afternoon, I will have no choice but to miss the game.  As such, I probably should have a co-coach.

Please let me know if you'd like me to coach one of the 3/4 teams.  I should be signing her up this week or next.

Please give this information to the rec center when you sign your daughter up for the league.  As I said, please contact them directly with comments or questions I am just the messenger sharing what I was told.  I know there were several people who didn't know about the registration deadlines last season and I'm trying to get the word out.
