Are people back out playing now?  I saw some kids playing on Sunday out on the fields behind Walmart.  Looks like a gorgeous day!

I don't know whether there will be an open field, as the children's
rec leagues will be playing M-Th and there are GASA league practices
going on at the same time.

Ugh, you're kidding? I was looking forward to our 3rd 4th grade teams
actually getting to play their first (4th) game of the season. The
water was certainly threatening the banks last night.

Although GASA is using the field behind the Athens Library, there is plenty
of additional space there for one or two pickup games. We can always park
free at the dog park behind the swimming pool, or on the street in front of
the library, and it's a short walk to the fields. Better than no play at
all....

Jessica was right. Youth games are canceled because the fields are
under water (I saw a photo that shows at least half way).

Hello everyone. Does anyone know of any alternate fields for the adult recreational league. The fields behind walmart are unreliable this year. We need a plan B. Someone must know someone in Athens that have options for an alternative field.
