So...is pickup soccer dead in Athens or has it just moved?  The last 3 times I've gone out for a pickup game at the regular place and then on Sunday when it was rumored there'd be a pickup game at 4pm near the South Green, nobody showed (or at least not more than 1-2 other people).  If anyone has any real sense of what's going on, some of us would still love to get a game, if possible.

Dunno.  The Wal Mart fields were playable in spots last night for my daughter's game.  They were also quite wet in other spots.  And, of course, the kids will be playing tonight as well. . .

I was planning to go to the Walmart fields at 6 pm.  I'll bring cones and popup goals, so we can play small-field off to the side if necessary.  Let's meet down at the Walmart end of the field as we've done in the past when league games are being played.  It was wet yesterday, but we've had great weather and the fields should (hopefully) be better.

FYI, the kids were having a game on the WalMart side on a full field yesterday.

ok, then let's meet at the far end of the field towards Lowes.  Many of the goals were up on the side of the bike path, so there are plenty of available fields.
