Subject: Re: Athens Adult Soccer - Input?
I've contacted the Rec Center to ask about restoring the Saturday morning league
I have a meeting with Erin Helms on Wednesday Sept. 12th to discuss this
From the tone of the e-mail, it looks like their focus will be toward the spring season.
I will ask her about an indoor option as well.
For the fall it could be that we try and attempt a sort of organized pick-up league.
No one should be responsible for it (
liability issues) but if "teams" show up on
Saturdays at 10am, 11am, and noon and start playing "pick-up" games
without refs.
what's to prevent some weekend fun?
