I got up this morning at 5AM and had the urge to brew a pale ale for
my keg. While I was brewing in the perfectly quite house I started to
wonder if any one else in the group was up brewing - probably not but
it might be nice to know beers are in the works from everyone. If you
have a beer in the works tell us about it.

I'm making a British Bitter this week, probably Thursday. 20 lbs
British Pearl, 2 Lbs Light Crystal with Northdown and Kent Goldings
hops. I'm pitching a different yeast strain to each 5 gal. fermenter,
Wyeast English Bitter Seasonal in one and Wyeast Yorkshire Seasonal in
the other. Not the most creative beer i do but sometimes you need an
good stand-by.

On Tap: Uncommon IPA (IPA fermented with California Common aka Steam
yeast), Scotch Ale, Hard Cider.
Secondary: German Altbier, Uncommon IPA.

Yesterday I kegged a strawberry-kiwi cyser and a Scottish ale. Although the cyser doesn't sound too manly, it weighs in at 10% abv. The Scottish seems nicely balanced with a nice faint smokiness. I'm pretty happy today.

I was going to keg a red ale Thursday night before I left town to
visit my parents, but I ran out of damned CO2! It patiently awaits my
return...

On Friday I ran off 10 gallons of 1.066 wort and split it into two batches.  The first six gallons became Bohemian-style Pilsener, and the latter four became extra pale ale.

This is Drake Scott and I'm brewing up a Brown Ale today sort of like
Terrapin's IBA. Little higher gravity than your typical brown and also
a bit more hoppy. I have an India Pale Ale, English Pale Ale, and a
Sweet Hard Cider in kegs on tap. I also have an Oatmeal Stout in
Secondary that should be ready soon. Plan to brew a five gallon batch
once a week until money runs out or I get to fat to drink the beer I
make.

My almost-conditioned red ale is hot sh*t in a champagne glass!... or
so I'd like to think.

Got a Scottish Ale in my secondary. It's my first time brewing a

After scoring the DEAL OF THE CENTURY on strawberries (7 lbs., redder
than a blushing bride for 11-12 dollars!), I'll be brewing a
strawberry pale ale. Though a really more of a summer beer it'll
hopefully still rock.
