I for one am stoked about the Copper Creek event and I think it would
be cool to do something nice for Matt Buley (our host/brewer) as he is
spending his Sunday afternoon entertaining us. His interests are disc
golf, not paying parking tickets, booze, trees, punk rock, and maybe
some other stuff. I was thinking i might buy him a nice bottle of
whiskey, something Irish or micro distilled, and everyone could give
me a dollar towards it. That would be a treat as he doesn't get to
spend money on such extravagances usually cause his two little boys
(Ethan and Noah) eat a lot and are always in trouble with The Man. Any
other ideas?

I agree getting something for Matt would be cool...but Irish
"whiskey"?? Really, Justin, the only whisky that says "We care" is a
nice Scotch like Laphroaig! $42-45 a bottle, chipping in $2 a piece
would cover it. Count me in and I look forward to seeing y'all there!

jstn i like the idea and would be willing to chip in on the bottle.
another idea would be to get matt a yearly pass for sandy creek park.
so he could go play some disc golf and or take his boys over there.
but i am up for doing any tihng to thank him for doing this event for
us.

Justin - Great idea for getting Matt a gift - Pam and I will also
contribute - I kind of like the year long pass idea - but you know him
best and defer to your judgment - Bruce

the year long pass is a great idea. i have one and it covers your
whole family for a year for $30. I'll bet he already has one though
and i think the disc golf pass is a little different from the reg one.
i will call his wife to see if they have one.

I say we get him a stripper and give him his gift on the day of the
tour so we all can enjoy. Jist kidding, but I do like the ideas
presented and would gladly chip in a few bucks for Matt.

Unfortunately, I will be out of town and will not be able to be there.
Wish I was. Is anyone thinking of bringing any samples to the next
meeting?
